Banana Spirulina Smoothie

What’s great about smoothies is that they’re quick to make — perfect for those days when you don’t have time to make yourself a healthy breakfast.

Serves 1


  • handful of kale (stalks removed)
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon spirulina


1. Mix all ingredients in a high-speed blender. This smoothie comes out with a yogurt-like consistency, so you can eat it with a spoon. Add more liquid if you’d like a smoother consistency.
